SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Since few years Metalleghe Spa, was trying by means of acquisitions or fusions, to enter the narrow circle of producers of Fe-Si, for concluding a path begun during the first years of the eighties; that for Metalleghe Spa even projected and tried to produce Fe-Si trough the renewal of Fe-Si scraps.

During May 2004 this long path found a conclusion with a contract established and signed between Metalleghe Spa and Elektrobosna N Jajce, for the acquisition of three furnaces, 7 MVA each, with a whole capacity of 15.000 Mt/year for the production of Fe-Si and Silicon Metal.
